The Final Collection Featured in my Degree Show

Below displays the final collection of pieces featured in my degree show; an amalgamation of the different processes i have been practicing, the knowledge I have acquired and the concepts I have been thinking about and researching. As can be seen the furniture incorporates a range of techniques such as quilting, wallpapering and upholstery, all in the political repeat patterns I designed digitally. At first glance they appear to be a classic Toile de Jouy, yet up close the imagery can be seen to reference modern day political and social issues. These pieces paired with the 'Wilted World' lino printed wallpaper, aim to make the viewer think about the state of our current climate.
